Tip of the Week:
A major change has taken place in RE that is worth
mentioning! As you know, the home address had an equivalent home
editable. The editable version of the address is one which is used only
for events and it is created and edited by programs which run nightly.
The current change will create an editable version of the preferred address
only, regardless of whether it is home or business. Thus, if someone’s
preferred address is business, only the business address will have an editable
version. See examples below.
Just an FYI – here are the differences between a normal address
and the editable version:
Preferred Address (Home or Business):
1)
Updated by RE Users
2)
Used to store a Home or Business address
3)
Uses regular Post Office Address Formats, such as SW, NW, St
4)
This address is being used to mail tax receipts and other
non-event related correspondence.
Preferred Editable (Home or Business):
1) Address
updated solely by Internal Nightly Programs. RE Users are asked NOT
to update this address.
2)
Used to store a Home or Business address
3)
Formal Format – spelling all parts of the address, such as Southwest,
Northwest, Street, etc.
4)
This address is being utilized by our Events staff for event and event-related
correspondence.
